The LE DUFF Group reaffirms its commitments during Sustainable Development Week 🌱

20 October 2025

A few days ago, the second edition of Sustainable Development Week kicked off at the LE DUFF Group headquarters. Throughout the week, employees took part in practical workshops and discussions to strengthen our collective commitment to a more responsible future.

Workshops focused on everyday life

This new edition featured several events centered around simple actions and concrete initiatives:
🪴 a composting workshop led by Green VallĂ©e, to learn how to recycle organic waste,
👨‍🍳 an anti-waste cooking workshop at the Group’s Culinary Academy, led by Pierre Koch, EMEA Executive Chef at Bridor,
🚴‍♀️ two days dedicated to servicing employees’ bicycles, in partnership with Cyclocare, to encourage soft mobility,
🏢 and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Group’s headquarters with SPIE, to show how the building is part of a sustainable approach on a daily basis.

These enjoyable moments of sharing raised everyone’s awareness of environmental issues while highlighting the concrete actions taken within the Group.

A collective dynamic that has been widely praised

This Sustainable Development Week illustrates the collective dynamic driven by all the teams within the Group and its subsidiaries.
The initiatives carried out, particularly with Bridor, have also been reported in the press, demonstrating the consistency between the Group’s long-term commitments and the concrete actions taken in the field.

An approach enshrined in the Group’s CSR roadmap

The LE DUFF Group’s actions are all enshrined in a CSR roadmap structured around three pillars:

🌍 Limiting our environmental impact
The Group is taking action to reduce its carbon and energy footprint, with an ambitious target of a 30% reduction in direct COâ‚‚ emissions by 2030 and a gradual reduction in water and electricity consumption across all its sites.

👥 Supporting and developing talent
Because collective success depends above all on people, the Group is continuing its efforts to strengthen training, improve workplace safety, and promote diversity, with, for example, a target of a gender equality index of over 90 in each entity.

🌾 Sharing a love of the land
The Group promotes short supply chains and responsible sourcing, with at least 80% of purchases made in the country of operation by 2025, and is committed to a circular economy approach, with 97% of paper and cardboard certified FSC, PEFC, or recycled.

A special focus on animal welfare

In line with its commitment to more responsible food production, the LE DUFF Group is stepping up its efforts to promote animal welfare.
Increasing importance is being placed on sourcing chickens from certified supply chains that meet strict criteria in terms of farming conditions.
In 2025, the Group will continue to pursue its goal of ensuring that 100% of the eggs it uses come from cage-free hens, marking an important milestone in its commitment to continuous improvement and respect for life.
