The Louis Le Duff Endowment Fund has joined forces with the Nominoë–CHU de Rennes Fund to create the book Prendre soin (“To Care”). This book bears witness to Nominoë’s concrete commitment to improving the quality of care and patient comfort at Rennes University Hospital (CHU).
🫀 A collaboration in the service of health
The book “To Care” was born from the shared desire of both Funds to celebrate the collective commitment of an entire region to the well-being of its people. It gives a voice to patients and caregivers who benefit from Nominoë’s initiatives and highlights the projects made possible thanks to the support of patrons and donors.
“The Nominoë Fund is a true bridge between the hospital world, the Breton territories, and socially engaged companies. It symbolizes a collective commitment capable of bringing people together beyond their differences to support those who need it most. This book shines a light on faces, gestures of solidarity, and the remarkable journeys of caregivers and patients. Through the Louis Le Duff Endowment Fund, I am proud to contribute to this beautiful story,”
said Maryvonne Le Duff, President of the Louis Le Duff Endowment Fund.
📖 A book celebrating ten years of action
Prendre soin opens with a chapter dedicated to food — a theme dear to the Louis Le Duff Endowment Fund, rooted in the belief that health begins on the plate. The book then sensitively retraces the path made possible by donors’ commitment. For over ten years, Nominoë has invested more than seven million euros in tangible projects and cutting-edge care:
family housing, multisensory carts, animated ceilings, virtual reality headsets, surgical robots, digital pathology systems, and more.
The book was designed by the Oblique agency and was unveiled and offered to guests during the grand patrons’ dinner of the Nominoë Fund, held on October 1st, in the presence of more than 600 attendees.
🤝 Shared values serving the common good
Committed to issues of nutrition, transmission, and the promotion of culinary know-how, the Louis Le Duff Endowment Fund supports, in France and abroad, initiatives of general interest that contribute to:
-
healthy and balanced eating,
-
health through food, and
-
the promotion of French culinary expertise.
It also supports any non-profit initiative that shares these same values.
For its part, the Nominoë–CHU de Rennes Fund, created in 2014 with the support of prominent Breton figures, finances innovative projects aimed at improving the comfort of both patients and healthcare professionals.
As a reminder, the Louis Le Duff Endowment Fund acts in France and internationally to promote initiatives of general interest that foster healthy eating, health through nutrition, and the global influence of French culinary know-how, as well as any other non-profit endeavor aligned with these values.
