Kamps Bakery is one of the best known brands in the German bakery industry.
The Groupe Le Duff acquired the majority stake in Kamps GmbH from German Equity Partners III (GEP III), a fund managed by Equity Capital Management (ECM), in order to reinforce its presence in the German bakery and café bakery market.
In the framework of this deal, the Kamps management team, run by its managing director Jaap Schalken, will reinvest in the company, continue with its growth strategy and support the development of Groupe Le Duff in the German market.
Kamps Bakery is one of the best known brands in the German bakery industry. If we take all their branches into account, this company is the industry leader in the German retail bakery scene and is one of the top 10 players in the fast food industry. With more than 450 employees and partner franchises, the company has over 200 million euros in sales outside of Germany in 2014.
