Le Duff America, Inc is shifting to cage-free eggs

2 August 2016

Le Duff America, Inc. is shifting to cage-free eggs, with the expectation of the move to be 100 percent complete by the end of 2026.

Le Duff America, Inc. — the North American subsidiary of France-based Groupe Le Duff and parent company of La Madeleine Country French Café, Bruegger’s Bagels, Mimi’s Café, and Brioche Dorée —  is shifting to cage-free eggs, with the expectation of the move to be 100 percent complete by the end of 2026. The company’s ability to offer cage-free only eggs by the end of 2026 is subject to availability.

This conversion is consistent with the transition occurring throughout the United States restaurant industry, and among food manufacturers as well as egg producers.

The brands are working with their supplier partners to achieve a cage-free egg supply chain.
