Since its creation nearly 40 years ago, Del Arte has relied on the keys to its success: the promise of generous and accessible Italian cuisine, served in dining spaces designed to welcome a broad clientele—meeting the expectations of professionals as well as families and children. Its franchise-based model, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, enabled the brand to remain resilient during the Covid crisis.
The restaurant sector has been particularly affected by the crisis and must now, more than ever, reinvent itself to meet the changing consumption habits and expectations of our customers. We face a real challenge: to offer a new experience, differentiated, accessible and high-quality offerings, and high levels of service. It is now more necessary than ever to rethink models and accept that restaurants are becoming experiential and lifestyle venues, completely different from what they used to be.
explains Philippe Jean, Managing Director of Del Arte
In line with these changes, Del Arte is embracing modernity with a completely reimagined restaurant concept, based on two core promises:
- The restaurant becomes a multifunctional living space with different atmospheres depending on the area chosen by the customer;
- The customer journey is adapted to new services (click & collect, delivery, takeaway…) and new functionalities.
To offer a new experience and stay as close as possible to evolving customer journeys, this concept is built around three complementary zones designed to meet every consumption occasion:
- THE “RISTORANTE” MODULE: Offers dining in a cozy and friendly space, with different ambiances depending on the area chosen by the customer, open for lunch and dinner.
- THE “CAFFERITIVO” MODULE: Open all day, it provides a food offering adapted to each moment—from morning coffee to Italian-style aperitivo in the evening. This new space also allows friends to gather around sporting or musical events.
- THE “A CASA” MODULE: Reimagined and adapted to customers who prefer takeaway, delivery, and Click & Collect services, featuring a drive-thru and a 100% digital journey (ordering, payment, QR Code detection kiosk).
JOUÉ-LÈS-TOURS: FLAGSHIP OF THIS “NEW GENERATION” CONCEPT FEATURING A DRIVE-THRU OFFER
Within a next-generation building of 344 m² with 90 seats, the new Del Arte restaurant in Joué-lès-Tours embodies this wave of change. Inaugurated on Thursday, December 1st, this very first restaurant built on the foundation of Del Arte’s new concept meets every occasion to dine, enjoy, and work—alone, with friends, or family.
It features a drive-thru service: a major and unprecedented innovation in the sit-down restaurant sector, offered for the very first time by Del Arte.
We have initiated a true evolution of our restaurants by integrating new services and flexible spaces for each time of day, addressing the needs of consumers who increasingly favor fast and unstructured dining. Balancing tradition and renewal, the Del Arte model is evolving toward greater mobility and digitalization to adapt to the changes in the sit-down restaurant sector—while continuing to captivate customers with its authentic Italian cuisine, a key part of its identity for nearly 40 years.
