As of today, the first results are already here:

Measuring emissions – how does it work?

The carbon footprint is calculated based on three emission “scopes”:

Scope 1 Scope 2 Scope 3
Emissions related to the consumption of fuels (gas, fuel, etc.) at sites – known as direct emissions. Emissions related to electricity consumption at sites – also known direct emissions. Other emissions related to purchases, transportation, waste, etc. – known as indirect emissions.

Concrete actions everywhere:

Decarbonization is everyone’s business: each entity of the Group is committed, with concrete actions tailored to its activity. Here are some inspiring examples already in place:

Bridor France

Reduced gas and electricity consumption, and gradual replacement of service vehicles with 100% electric models.

Bridor North America

Transition to LED lighting at the Montréal plant, replacement of condensers to cut energy use and refrigerant gas leaks.

Frial

Roof insulation work to reduce heating needs and an alert system for refrigerant fluid leaks.

Brioche Dorée

Promotion of energy best practices in restaurants.

Purchase of refurbished computers and smartphones to reduce digital impact

Kamps

Use of 100% renewable green electricity.
